At 16, I was diagnosed with infraspinatus atrophy, a “hole” in the back of my shoulder. It was unstable, constantly in pain, and for a long time, I thought I’d never make it to the highest level. But I didn’t give up.
For years, I tried to play through the limitations. It wasn’t until 2014, after knee surgery, that I decided to dive deep into smart strength training. That’s when I developed a method to rebuild my shoulder, making it stable, strong, and pain-free.
I played seven seasons injury-free. But during the pandemic, without access to the weight room and only training with the ball, the pain came back, and I suffered a serious shoulder injury.
Recovery was tough. But today, I’m in my second season post-surgery, currently competing in the Italian Championship, stronger than ever.
